Tell it to
the Church
With great joy we welcome you to this service
affirming the great power of reformation in the Presbyterian tradition.
Our lives as a people of God are refreshed by constant renewal of grace
from our beloved creator. Our lives as a people in love with justice
are refreshed and renewed by individual and corporate acts of conscience
declaring our commitment to a just and welcoming church.
This Reformation Day packet is meant to be a resource
to individuals and churches wishing to continue the reformation that will
make justice and inclusion a reality for LGBT persons in the PCUSA.
Included is information and sample material to help sessions and individuals
continue the process of communicating thoughts and concerns regarding the
issues that both unite and divide Presbyterians at this time.
The packet includes:The movement that will lead to a reformation in our now exclusive church requires that people speak and act deliberately, with love, in ways that “tell it to the church.” With prayers for God’s blessings, and gifts of grace, patience, and courage.
